Sacred Heart University students in all majors and minors are eligible to apply for the SHU in Dingle program and earn degree credits. To ensure adequate preparation, you must be approved to study at SHU in Dingle. When you meet with your study abroad adviser, academic considerations will be discussed.

You cannot be on disciplinary or academic probation. You must also be in good academic standing.

Some courses, such as Nursing, have specific GPA requirements.
You cannot retake a course that you have already completed.

Semester: SHU in Dingle

Minimum class standing: Rising Sophomore
Minimum SHU Suggested GPA: Good academic standing. 3.0 for Nursing majors

Summer: SHU in Dingle

Minimum class standing: Rising Sophomore
Minimum SHU Suggested GPA: Good academic standing

Winter: SHU in Dingle

Minimum class standing: Freshman
Minimum SHU Suggested GPA: Good academic standing
