Students in this class will explore Irish media and the performing arts through a survey of Irish film, television, dance, music and theatre. Course will include screenings, field trips, live performances and guest speakers, with an emphasis on intercultural communication and community engagement.

Students will have the opportunity to produce a final project or performance in collaboration with the rich creative community of Dingle, Ireland.

No prior production experience required.

This course fulfils the Art/Design/Communications foundational core requirement.

It also fulfils the Social & Global Awareness LAE requirement.
