SHU in Dingle in association with Dingle GAA
Dingle GAA Visit to Sacred Heart University

Gaelic Football is one of the most popular sports in Ireland.
The game is high-octane, full of speed, precision, accuracy and intensity.
The sport is managed by the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). The GAA is an intrinsic part of community life in Ireland. At a local and club level, the sport is managed entirely voluntarily by members of the local community. It is an amateur game, fuelled purely by commitment, dedication and passion by the people involved.
The game is now played all over the world and is growing in popularity every year. The sport has been played in the United States ever since Irish emigrants first came to its shores. There are currently nearly 6,000 members, playing in 123 clubs throughout the US.
