Populations to Ecosystems is the final course in the biology major foundational series of courses. Students will discover the unity and interdependence of the living and nonliving components of the environment while exploring the limitless diversity of life on earth through the lens of ecological theory. Topics include population dynamics, species interactions, abundance and diversity, nutrient cycling, succession, and stability. A prerequisite to BI 240, 260, 265, and 398.
